Photos and review of the first public try out

Please visit our Photos page for images of our first public appearance since march 2003. Below a personal review of the founder of our band:

Then,

30 july 1999, first R/R try out @ podiumcafe de Graauwe hengst, originally a gin-distellery,  bloody hot night. 8 songs: Out of the blue/Editions of you/Love is the drug/Pyjamarama/Virginia plain/Song for europe/ Both ends burning/ Do the strand

Line-up: drums: Ed van Esch, bass: Ronald Verberkmoes, keys: Piet van Kraaij, guitar: Pedro Goodyear, sax: Leslie van der Heul, vocal: Ron Snelderweert. Audience: surprised and shouting for more, so we had to play some songs twice, the rest is history.

and Now...

26 august 2010 first public try out after 7 years @ Podiumcafe de Graauwe hengst while a hard rain's a-gonna fall. You know the line-up..

The setlist
Out of the blue/ Pyjamarama/The Bogus man/Chancemeeting/Both ends burning/If there is something/In every dream home a heartache/Do the strand/The in’crowd/Casanova/That’s how strong my love is/Love is the drug/Jealous guy/Shame shame shame/Virginia Plain/Editions of you/Let’s Stick/A song for europe/All I want is you/Re-make/Re-model

The audience was really, really great. Many well known and new faces. Although it was a rainy thursdayevening a lot of people showed up and together we created a fantastic atmosphere. During the encore the applause was deafening.   Most heard saying of the night: "You guys are better then ever".

This was only the beginning.

Re-make/Re-model is back and this time is the best time.

Ron
